Jane Uzunovski, a market expansion and fundraising expert with 15+ years in the region, calls Swiss EP the most impactful organization he has worked with in Southeast Europe.

“In my 15+ years of work in the region, the gold medal for the most impactful organization in the Balkans (financed by an external stakeholder for the benefit of Southeast Europe) goes to Swiss EP,” starts Jane. He has been a Swiss EP diaspora expert since 2021, when we first started collaborating in his home country of North Macedonia.

With deep expertise in market expansion and fundraising, Jane Uzunovski has worked closely with founders, investors, and ecosystem builders across the region. He worked with varoius organizations, and he noticed something that seets Swiss EP apart. In his view, isn’t just the resources—it’s the way they’re used.

    I’ll never forget Jacob’s question: ‘Is there any person or company that’s under the radar that we should be aware of?’ It wasn’t just about numbers or reports—it was about finding and supporting hidden potential. That mindset is rare, and it shows deep care for the region.
  3. Continued commitment.
    “Every time the Swiss EP funding is extended, it sends a powerful message: they’re not here for a quick win—they’re here to lead real transformation and connect the Balkans with the global innovation scene.”

Jane’s work with Swiss EP has allowed him to support entrepreneurs at pivotal stages and help them scale beyond borders. For him, the experience has been both professionally meaningful and personally inspiring.
