Katrin Kiviselg: people connecting people

Being part of Swiss EP has given me the chance to showcase the vibrant Balkan startup scene to investors back home in the Baltics. It's opened doors, bridged communities, and made a real difference in my professional journey.

Katrin Kiviselg is Swiss EP expert since 2021. She is helping startups setup and improve their sales.

Katrin shared this story about her favorite Swiss EP moment.

Katrin's story

My experience with Swiss EP has truly been a highlight, especially the founders' retreats we had across North Macedonia, Bosnia, Albania, and Kosovo. What I loved most about these events was the perfect mix of productive discussions and relaxed, enjoyable downtime. It was easy to share ideas, help local startups, and genuinely connect with fellow international experts—some of whom have become great friends.

Something I genuinely appreciate about Swiss EP is how seriously they take quality. They're always seeking feedback and actively use it to continually improve their events and programs. It feels like being part of a dynamic, living community that's always evolving.

Through Swiss EP, I've met incredible people like Helen Vasilveski, who quickly turned from a professional contact into a wonderful friend and business partner. Then there's Jamie Reynolds—someone I've met both abroad and in my hometown—and we continue to share ideas and collaborate. Ethan Mayers is another standout; his direct and insightful feedback has been incredibly valuable to me. And Keo Sar as well, another incredible connection who is putting me in touch with some startups to help them with their sales strategies and also introduced me to Cambodian startup network where I am going soon!

Personally, being part of Swiss EP has given me the chance to showcase the vibrant Balkan startup scene to investors back home in the Baltics. It's opened doors, bridged communities, and made a real difference in my professional journey.

People connecting people. SwissEP is amazing :)

Thank you, Katrin!
