Aim for Global Reach
Ecomdy, a Vietnam-based eCommerce company, is helping local brands expand into international markets, especially the United States, through TikTok Shop and other platforms. From the beginning, Linh, Ecomdy’s Founder and CEO, understood that exporting products wasn’t enough. To succeed globally, Vietnamese businesses need more than tools — they need strategic guidance, operational support, and a trusted network.
Ecombator: A Practical Launchpad for Global Sellers
In 2024, Ecomdy launched Ecombator, a program designed to support Vietnamese teams entering the cross-border space. With strategic support from Swiss EP’s EIR Chin Hing Chang and Program Manager Trần Trí Dũng, Ecomdy shaped Ecombator into a practical, hands-on incubation program. In its first round:
- 12 teams were selected
- 800+ jobs were created
- 3 teams reached seven-figure sales on TikTok Shop US
We gained clear direction and knew how to move forward,” shared Nguyễn Tiến Ngọc, CEO of TANK ECOM, who credited the program with helping his team recognize the opportunity on TikTok Shop US and build a capable, dedicated operational team.
Trần Anh Tiến, COO of GREEN E, highlighted mindset transformation, network building, and practical systems as his key takeaways. He described the program in three words: inspiring, action-oriented, and supportive.
Vũ Chí Hiếu, Co-founder of DITECH, reported a 10x increase in revenue during the program — a clear indicator of its value.
Recognition on the Global Stage
These results helped validate Ecombator’s success and brought Ecomdy to the international stage. In 2025, it was selected as one of four global case studies featured at the TikTok Agency Partner Summit in Singapore — the only company from Vietnam invited. Ecomdy also joined the panel discussion “Partnering for Change” at the summit, where Linh shared the company’s journey:

He introduced Ecomdy’s broader ecosystem-building efforts, including Ecombator, SellGrow, and Ecomdy Global Gaming — all designed to help Vietnamese brands grow on global platforms like TikTok.
Ecombator Batch 2: Driving Greater Impact
Building on the momentum of Batch 1, Ecombator expanded in May 2025. Eighteen teams from six cities across Vietnam onboarded the second batch, beginning with a bootcamp in Quy Nhơn. Swiss EP’s team — including Program Managers Trần Trí Dũng and Nguyễn Văn Chương — joined Ecomdy on-site to support the training.
The bootcamp emphasized hands-on learning:
- Teams developed business models
- Created TikTok Shop US content
- Used tools like Symphony AI to test and improve their product messaging
Many teams were able to produce sales-ready content within just a few days. Over the next six months, teams will continue to focus on product development, brand building, and investment readiness, supported by tailored mentorship from both local and international experts.
Looking Ahead: A Fund for the Future
Building on the success of Ecombator and its hands-on support for startups, Ecomdy is now taking the next step with its upcoming $2M Accelerator Fund, designed to fuel the growth of promising cross-border ventures and deepen its impact on Vietnam’s emerging startup ecosystem. With support from Swiss EP’s EIR Hằng Thu Nguyễn, the fund represents a forward-thinking investment initiative in the cross-border eCommerce industry and, more broadly, in Vietnam’s startup ecosystem.
