The Scaling Journey of NetZero Pallet

NetZero Pallet, a Swiss EP scale-up, transforms agricultural waste into low-emission logistics solutions. In 2025, with targeted support from a Swiss EP EIR, the company scaled commercially and tripled its revenue compared to 2024.

NetZero Pallet is redefining how agricultural waste drives modern logistics. As global supply chains face intensifying pressure to decarbonize, the company is scaling practical solutions that transform overlooked residues into high-performance, climate-ready infrastructure.

By converting residues into durable, lightweight, and reusable pallets, NetZero Pallet (NZP) is providing a high-impact alternative to traditional timber and single-use materials. Their solution is actively reducing deforestation while lowering emissions across the entire lifecycle of logistics operations—from production and transportation to final disposal.

Thang Nguyen, Swiss EP’s EIR supporting NetZero Pallet emphasized:

What impressed me most about NetZero Pallet was their ability to turn agricultural waste into industrial products that create income for farmers, reduce CO₂ emissions, and meet the growing demand from FDI companies pursuing green transformation.

However, translating circular-economy innovation into products trusted by industrial supply chains requires more than environmental performance alone. Enterprise customers demand consistent quality, compliance with international standards, reliable supply capacity, and procurement-ready business processes. Bridging this gap between sustainable innovation and large-scale adoption became NZP’s central scaling challenge, and where coordinated ecosystem support played a critical role.

Through Startup Wheel 2024, organized by Swiss EP Partner Organization BSSC, NZP more than well deserves to be the winner, with a clear essence in their solution and strong commercial potential. Being named Champion of Startup Wheel 2024 signaled that NZP’s solution could perform not only as a climate innovation, but as an industrial-grade product suitable for competitive supply chains and open up chances for NZP to expand access to investor and industry networks.

NZP then joined the Women’s Agri-Business Climate Adaptation Accelerator (DeltAccelerate), organized by Swiss EP Partner Organization New Energy Nexus Vietnam, which supports women-led enterprises advancing climate resilience in the Mekong Delta. The program strengthened NZP’s operational readiness while reinforcing the company’s contribution to regional adaptation and circular-economy objectives. This trajectory later contributed to NZP being awarded the World Trade Organization’s 2025 Small Business Champions Competition 2025, reflecting growing international recognition of its low-emission logistics model.

As market demand increased, commercial scaling capacity became the next critical constraint. In the second half of 2025, Swiss EP provided direct support through a scale-up mission focused on strengthening NZP’s sales systems and distribution capacity. With guidance from a sales expert, NZP built a dedicated in-house sales team, developed distribution partnerships, and streamlined pre- and after-sales processes to better serve enterprise procurement requirements.

Thao Tran - Co-Founder of NetZero Pallet highlighted:

Swiss EP’s support was so meaningful because it was tailor-made for us at a critical growth stage. By working with an EIR who truly fits our context, we were able to leverage his 30 years of experience to strengthen our sales team's competence and reach new waves of customers.

The results were tangible: NZP achieved a threefold year-on-year increase, reaching USD 1.1 million in 2025 revenue, while significantly expanding its pipeline with large multinational customers seeking practical solutions to reduce supply-chain emissions.

NZP’s growth illustrates how circular-economy solutions can be built on Vietnam’s agricultural foundations to support the transition toward low-carbon supply chains. By converting agricultural waste into durable logistics infrastructure and through coordinated ecosystem support at critical growth stages, NZP demonstrates how local resources can drive both commercial scalability and meaningful emissions reduction.
