Bluelion | Josefstrasse 219 | 8005 Zurich | Switzerland

The third edition of the Peer Exchange Meetup brought together C-level executives of our partnering accelerators, coworking spaces, VC funds and shapers of emerging ecosystems in the last week of September 2022. Participants from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Peru, Serbia and Vietnam started into the week with presenting the current status und existing challenges of their respective ecosystems.

Participants had fruitful exchanges to share experiences and best practices from their individual countries, finding similarities and inspiration. Experienced ecosystem builders, mainly from Switzerland, but also including Germany, Norway and the US provided input on trends in startup programs, financial sustainability, community building, international partnerships, academia-driven entrepreneurship, sector-vertical deep dives, ecosystem scaling and funding opportunities.

“I learned so much about ecosystems in developed countries and how to empower our small fragile ecosystems”,
said one participant.

The week was very intense with a high energy level from all participants and contributors, showing that the passion for entrepreneurship and creating new, disruptive businesses was the common connector during the week. One participant stated:

“This program was most intensive and the best program I have ever attended”.

Overall, the participants gave the program an outstanding NPS score of 84 and lots of wonderful feedback.

Leveraging all these new insights and ideas, participants closed the event with pitching their envisioned ecosystems in 2027. Besides rich and inspiring content sessions, the group also explored Switzerland by visiting a cheese making factory in Appenzell and enjoying Raclette on the Alpstein mountain. All participants left Zurich with great memories and valuable impulses to work towards the vision 2027 of their entrepreneurship ecosystems. To maintain the momentum one participant summarized,

“Happy to collaborate more deeply in the future!”
